He said that his re-election into office as the Executive Chairman of Abakaliki LGA is a call to install peace by ensuring that the area is a crime free zone; pledging more commitment to step down the policies and programmes of the state government under the leadership of Governor David Umahi to his council area, assuring true reflection and distribution of democractic dividends in the state.

He directed the communities in the council area whose their traditional stools are still vacant to follow the due process and produce their royal fathers for replacement to help in sensitizing and promoting the peace agenda he stulks for the smooth running of his second term in office.

Lending his voice, the Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor on Internal Security and Public Utilities in Ebonyi North Zone, Comrade Ben Nwovu thanked the Council Chairman, and cautioned the people to never take security issues forgranted these days.
