Former Ghanaian President, Rawlings is dead

The former Ghanaian President, Jerry John Rawlings is reportedly dead.




NATIONAL PANEL learnt that Rawlings died in the early hours of Thursday at the Cardiothoracic Centre of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

The former President was said to have been battling with his ill-health over the past few weeks.

We gathered that Late Rawlings buried his late mother, Madam Victoria Agbotui in October 2020.

Rumour had it that Rawlings was suspected to have died of COVID-19 complications at a hospital in Accra, Ghana, on Thursday morning.
