The Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor on St. Margaret Umahi International Market Plot Five, Rev. Dr. Mrs. Nwakaego Nworie has described the move of Governor David Umahi to All Progressives Congress, APC on last Thursday as a divine call to render more services to Ebonyi and the nation Nigeria.
According to her, Umahi who was a strong pillar of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to have left to APC is not just a mere decision but "a divine call to add value to our dear State and change narratives to our country Nigeria.
"First in every business of life, is the boldness, and this boldness remains the second and the third to ensure the trophy is won by the person involved.
"Umahi's boldness towards his divine mission to win this greater task as a man after God's own heart is a second to none, and it is this quality that keeps him in the first burner of Nigerian leadership as the best governor in this country in terms of human and infrastructural development.
"Governor Umahi's exemplary and extraordinary leadership qualities, courage and foresightedness have placed him above his equals. By this singular act, His Excellency Apostle Dr. David Nweze Umahi has proved himself to be the kind of leader, Nigeria needs at this moment.
"Governor David Umahi is a unifier, focused leader and goal getter. And we are strongly in support of his movement to APC for the benefit of our people, Southeast and Nigeria at large.
"This is because his sacrifice to fight the cause of our people will not go in vain and in no doubt, posterity has recorded his name in Gold.
Nworie stated that the governor has never lost any contest and therefore, assured of his victory if he joins the Presidential race in 2023.
"As King David of our time, he has never lost any battle. So, his call for a Nigeria President from Southeast in 2023 must be achieved to the glory of God.
"His Excellency just willingly answered the divine call. Adage in Ibo says, 'Nwata kpakalia ibe ya na nku asina okparaya na ajo Ohia,' that is to say, 'when a child gets larger fire woods more than his equals they say he gathers them at the evil forest.'
"Your Excellency Sir, relax your mind and know fully well that those against this move if there is any, I doubt are doing so because they do not understand the movement of our God. I deeply appreciate you so much for allowing God to use you to take us to another level.
"This is the reason when God says who shall I send and who shall go for us you humbly answered and said 'here I am, send me.' The things of this world is turn by turn, enjoy your moments of Glory," Rev. Mrs. Nworie said.
