Second #EndSARS protest has allegedly restarted by youths in Ondo state and Abuja, a week after the first protest that attracted the international community.
EndSARS protesters are currently protesting in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, as well as Akure, the capital of Ondo state.
The youths in Akure marched and drove in convoy through the streets of Akure to the State House of Assembly, demanding an audience with the leadership of the Assembly.
While in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, huge crowd blocked major roads on Monday morning, obstructing vehicular movements in the city.
Organisers of the protest who raised awareness on social media about this second protest, said it is to demand the release of all protesters detained during the first one, unfreezing of all accounts of some #EndSARS protesters that were frozen by the CBN and also an end to bad governance in the country.
NATIONAL PANEL learnt that this new protest is coming days after the Nigeria Police banned any form of protests, gatherings vowed to deal decisively with anyone that defaults the order.
This second protest had allegedly begun in some other states with police stations and other public properties destroyed by the protesters.
