The good people of Ekebeligwe Ishieke community in Ebonyi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State have during the weekend expressed joy for the donation of electric transformer to the village by the Senator Sam Ominyi Egwu.
While sending his goodwill message to the Senator, one of his legal aide from the village, and the Youth Leader of the Peoples Democractic Party, PDP in Ebonyi State, Barr. Obinna Iteshi described Egwu as a concerned leader known for human development and creation of positive impacts in human life.
In his words, "the distinguished Senator has graciously donated a new transformer to our village, Ekebeligwe Ishieke in Ebonyi LGA. He didn't stop there. He ordered immediate installation. I personally brought the engineers who are already on the field for the installation. The installation of the transformer is cited at Nwaema Junction in Ekebeligwe Ishieke, and work has commenced now.
"His Excellency, the distinguished Senator is known for human development. He is a concerned leader, who believes in creation of positive impacts in human life.
"Before now, we don't have light. But with the donation of the new transformer, the nooks and crannies of our village is going to have light soonest. He also directed that the installation of the transformer should be done less than a week and the engineers are on the field since two days ago up till today, doing the housing of the transformer before it will be mantled at the site.
"So, my goodwill message to him, on behalf of my village Ekebeligwe Ishieke is that, we are very happy for him. We shall continue to support him at anytime he calls on us, praying for his long life with a sound health because he has been doing alot for our people.
"Let me use this opportunity to remind our people that this is not the first time he is building my village in a positive light.
"The same Senator Sam Egwu, when he was the governor of Ebonyi State, as the first civilian governor, gave scholarship to two of our illustrious sons, who went to US, study up to Master Degree and beyond.
"Today we have, two of them as scholars from this village, one is Chief Peter Mgbabor and second is my elder brother, Barr. John Iteshi. He has done marvelous well, what he needs is our continuous support and prayers."
NATIONAL PANEL gathered that Ekebeligwe Ishieke Village Head, Chief Lazarus Nwoyibe and other stakeholders, Chief Peter Mgbabor, Chief Raymond Nwebonyi Oge and numerous others from the community had extended their hearts of gratitude to Senator Sam Egwu, promising him, a continuous support and prayers to excel in his services to humanity.
