The Inter-party Advisory Council,(IPAC) Ebonyi state with every sense of responsibility Condemns Killings and destruction of properties in Effium, Ohaukwu LGA Ebonyi.
The umbrella body of Political parties describes the destruction as an unnecessary, senseless and barbaric and therefore call on all the warring party's to drop their arsenal of wars and alternatively embrace peace and dialogue to settle the misunderstanding that erupted lately.
IPAC Ebonyi state appreciates the timely Intervention of the state government which has helped in arresting the situation and returning normalcy to the area. We call on the security agents to relocate forces to Effium to stall escalation and to help recover those kidnapped and hidden in the bush.
Conclusively,we wish to remind all Ebonyians that no state makes progress in rancour, acrimony and crisis, therefore we must all shun acts that negates the peace and progress of our dear state.
