In his end year message, Nwoke appreciated the good people of Izzi Unuphu especially the youths, those at home and in the diaspora and also wished them God's continuous protection and blessings as they are entering the year 2021.

"I see it as a privilege to stand today as the National President of Izzi Unuphu Community Youth Movement to thank God Almighty on your behalf for His mercy to live in the land of the living till now. We will see the end of this year.

"Promisingly, we started this year until the outbreak of COVID-19 was announced and we thought it was government plan to embezzle money. But we later discovered it was real and we experienced what we do hear about ie curfew, lockdown etc. To God be the glory at the end of September it started reducing.

"As we were celebrating the reduction of COVID-19 wave, the EndSARS came which allowed the peaceful protesters make their demands, it also created opportunity for bad eggs to destroy government and private properties thereby causing mayhem in our community, state and nation. This took another two months.

'We thank God as a community that the COVID-19 and EndSARS didn't take any of us.

"Unfortunately, we are beginning to hear another phase of COVID-19 in some parts of our country.

"Based on the current situation, the executive has cancelled our cultural day/ end of year celebration 29th December 2020.

"I plead with my people to avoid large crowd, embrace social distancing, to use nose masks, use hand sanitizers and Wash hands often. Locally, you can steam twice daily, take more of fresh natural foods, apply all the preventive measures enunciated by health authorities.

"The pandemic will go the way the first one went in Jesus name Amen.

"Let us live life Worthy of emulation to enable our neighboring communities give us expected support to actualize our dreams. Let us also keep our eyes on the ball always, be vigilant, be prayerful.

"Come 29th December 2021, our cultural day/end of year celebration will be a world class.

"God in his infinite mercy, despite the challenges of 2020 has been kind to us as a community."

Further, the President extended his heart of gratitude to the leaders of the state, for their impactful  policies and programmes since assumed office and pleaded them to carry his community along like Hausa and Yoruba Communities as the state capital city's host community.

"I, thank His Excellencies, the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Chief David Umahi and wife, the Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, Chief Eric Kelechi Igwe and wife. My dear brother, the Right Honourable Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru. These men changed the story of our community from dust of the nation to Best City in Nigeria. I plead with them to always carry us along as the capital city's host community the way you carry along Hausa community and Yoruba community in all government functions," he stated.

He cautioned his people to shun cultism, drug abuse, kindred dicotomy and other negative tendencies against one another, praying that the year 2021 would be   more fruitful than 2020.
