Barely 24 hours after two stranded mothers of triplets, Mrs. Eucheria Nwigboji of Echialike and Mrs. Ebere Elechi of Ohankwu, Ndufu-Alike appealed for assistance from Ikwo Local Government Council, Wife of the Chairman of Ikwo Local Government Area, Mrs Theresa Orogwu heeded the plea as she offset medical bills of mothers of the triplets, gave the families an undisclosed amount of money for upkeep, assorted food and gift items for the mothers and their babies.
Items donated include; Bags of rice, Beans, Garri, Beverages, Wrappers, Toiletries, Baby wears, and among others.
Mrs Eucheria Nwigboji delivered of three girls at Royal Cherish Hospital, Onu-Nwelem, Echialike while Mrs. Ebere Elechi delivered of two baby girls and a boy at Primary Health Centre, Elegu Ohankwu, Ndufu Alike both in Ikwo Local Government Area.
In her speech, Mrs Orogwu thanked the Wife of Ebonyi State Governor, Chief Mrs Rachael Umahi and her husband, Elder Stephen Orogwu for providing the platform with which the visit was made possible.

The Chairperson made it clear that the visit was just the begin of her assistance to the two families as she told them not to hesitate to call on her each time they need more help.
The Chairperson was accompanied by the Vice Chairman of Ikwo Local Government Council, Mrs. Onyinye Nweke, Coordinator, Ikwo Development Center, Mrs. Nkechi Onele, Wives of Development Centre Coordinators, Councilors, Supervisors as well as a Woman Leader, Mrs. Ngozi Igwe.
