As Christians world over celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from death, the Vice Chancellor of Coal City University Enugu, Professor Afam Icha-Ituma has urged Christians "to appreciate and celebrate God's unconditional love and new hope that dawned on mankind" as they celebrate this year's Easter, a season commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ from death.
In a message he personally signed, Professor Ituma further stated that the celebration " is also of reflection and rewakening of our inner strength and faith".
He said "Easter signifies the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Chris.
"It is the commemoration of the highest manifestation of God's love for mankind when Christ had to die in order to lead man to salvation.
"This is the time to appreciate and celebrate God's unconditional love and the new hope that dawned on mankind. "It is also a season of reflection and an awakening of our inner strength and faith.
"I wish all our staff and stakeholders a very happy Easter.
"May the Easter bring to you and your family hope, joy and comfort in these uncertain times.
"As you celebrate the Easter, remember to follow the government's guidance and maintain social distance and above all else, stay safe"
