On Thursday, May 27, 2021, the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, Coal City University, Enugu will hold the 2nd Edition of its Entrepreneurship Series virtual seminar with the theme: Developing An Entrepreneurial Mindset.
The event features Professor Ikenna Uzuegbunam, a visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship and International Business at Coal City University Enugu, Mr. Brian Ezeike, a content creator and fashion designer and Obinna Nweje, a seasoned business development consultant.
The seminar targets participants drawn from members of the university community across the world, the business community and the general public.
According to the Vice Chancellor, Prof Afam Icha-Ituma "The CCU Entrepreneurship Series is to help aspiring entrepreneurs visualize the possibilities, identify resources to support their vision, and understand the logistics of starting and managing a business successfully.
"The series makes becoming an entrepreneur accessible by introducing low and no-cost ideas, encouraging self assessment to understand one's capabilities, identifying business support services, and providing structure for assessing and launching business ideas."
The Centre Director, Mr. Okechukwu Chukwuemeka, said that "the entrepreneurship terrain is strewn with issues and challenges, thus entrepreneurs must take specific steps to actualise their vision, breaking through whatever constraining factors. He said the monthly Entrepreneurship Series is packaged to deliver invaluable business insights to SMEs, students, academia and all attendees.
"In this session, you will gain valuable insight into how entrepreneurs start companies and probe the unique mindset that often accompanies a successful venture".
