The Registrar of the fastest growing university in Africa, Coal City University, Enugu, Nigeria, Very Reverend Father Mathias Ikechukwu Odigbo says the university's "ultramodern Computer Based Test Centre, recently inaugurated is by far the largest in terms of capacity and modern ICT integrated facilities, arguably in the entire nation."
Fr. Odigbo broke the cheering news to newsmen on Monday in his office in Enugu, calling on parents, caregivers, students and actors in the education sector and the general public to take advantage of the facility for a quality and efficient service delivery.
Asked how the new facility differ from those within the host state, he explained that contrary to the erratic networks in some cyber cafes, the underlying cause has been identified and fixed by the Coal City University ICT experts, making it difficult for interruptions during registration and other related cyber services.
Speaking further on the sideline of the extension of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board Examination, the Registrar stated: "JAMB has been extended to May 29,2021.
"Candidates can still register for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, and the Direct Entry Examination at the brand new Computer Based Centre at the Coal City University, Enugu State."
Recall that the university's quest for internationalisation informed the established of the Centre in other for students and the general public to have uninterrupted cyber services at an affordable price.
"Owing to the its strategic location, vast majority of the state use the brand-new ultramodern Centre.
Coal City University is indeed committed to excellence," he said.
