If not properly tailored, the picture painted by the media could make the electorates to make the wrong choice of leaders.
The Performance of a Democratic government can be measured by the standard of living of the citizens in a given country within a period. Personality traits of political leaders are natural and determine the zeal to deliver on electioneering promises.
These traits are:Rationality,Authoritativeness, Adventurousness and inspiration.
Leaders with rational traits miraculously deliver on their electioneering promises. Such leaders bring unprecedented development to their states or nations.
In Ebonyi State, we celebrate a rational leader, whose quality leadership is celebrated nation wide.This leader of distinction with a track records of performance has performed beyond the expectations of Ebonyians.
His monumental and landmark achievements include but not limited to the construction of overhead bridges, concrete roads, a world class Christian Ecumenical Centre, a state of the art shopping mall, a Waste to Wealth Recycling Plant, Water Fountains, Street lights and a new Government House, quality education and health care delivery, introduction of School Debate and School Evangelism, Agricultural Revolution, Remodeling of St. Margret Umahi International Market and the old Government House, establishment of school of Vocational Studies, King David Gifted Academy, and State University Teaching Hospital , construction of three Cassava Processing Plants and Rice processing Plants. The list is endless
Governor Umahi has carved a niche for himself in the sands of time. It is because his intimidating records of achievement that various groups in the country are now clamouring for Governor Umahi for President in 2023, including the Arewa consultative youth forum led by Alhaji Abulkadir Usman Danladi, the Oduduwa Peoples Congress Youth wing led by Mr.Tunde Yusuf, the Igbo Youth Congress Worldwide led by Prince Emeka Eze, and the Nigeria Youths Assembly led by Mallam Umar Mohammad.
These groups are currently mobilizing ten million youths to support this vision, believing that if given the mandate to be at the helm of affairs of this nation, he will replicate what he did in Ebonyi State across the country, thereby addressing the infrastructural needs of the citizenry.
The reward for a good work is another work. With the marginalization meted to the Southeast Zone in political leadership by the successive government, the groups believe that it is the turn of the southeast to produce the President of the nation in 2023, and that based on his antecedent's, Governor Umahi deserves to be the next president of Nigeria for political correctness.
