Tomorrow Wednesday, 9th June, 2021, quondam Commissioner for Information in Ebonyi State will deliver the second inaugural lecture of the Faculty of Arts, Social and Management Sciences of the Coal City University, Enugu, Nigeria.
Recall that an erudite Communication Scholar, Professor Nnamdi Okenwa had delivered the first inaugural lecture of the university, wherein he interrogated regional groupings and its place in the nation's political developments.
But this time around, the literary giant and a Reader in the Department of English and Literary Studies will deliver on the topic: "Creativity In Modelling The University of the Future" amidst expectations of galaxy of erudite scholars and researchers.
The event which will be shared by the visionary Vice Chancellor, distinguished Professor Afam Ituma will be streamed live on social media platforms for diasporan audience and others not in close proximity to the event venue to join and be part of intellectually stimulating lecture.
The guest lecturer, Dr John Otu served as a Commissioner for Information under the then first democratically elected governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Senator (Dr) Sam Ominyi Egwu.
