Governor Umahi makes new appointment

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. David Nweze Umahi has approved the appointment of Hon. Collins Agbo as Special Assistant to the Governor on Local Government and Rural Development. 

The Secretary to the State Government and Coordinating Commissioner in Ebonyi State, Dr Kenneth Igwe Ugbala made the announcement on Saturday in Abakalki.

Ugbala said the appointment is with immediate effect.

The SSG also said the state govenor in his  determined effort to reposition the Ebonyi State University, has approved the appointment of Professor Eugene Nweke  as the Acting Deputy Vice- Chancellor (Academics) of the University and the appointment is with effect from 4th June, 2021.

Ugbala said, it is expected that Professor Nweke would deploy his wealth of experience to strengthen and enrich the academic fortunes of the University.
