The Ebonyi State Police Command has assured of adequate security following the Eid-Al-Kabir festival holding tommorow Tuesday 20th July, 2021.
CP Aliyu Garba, the Commissioner of Police in Ebonyi State, gave the assurance while addressing newsmen in Abakaliki town.
According to him, the Police would work with other security agents to ensure no security threat during the Eid-Al-Kabir celebration.
"Police in Collaboration with other security agencies are going to put force together in order to ensure most peaceful celebration.
"We must know that there are other Eid-Al-Kabir festivals ahead. Don't involve in crime to celebrate it."
The Commissioner urged individuals to celebrate without fear.
"There is nothing to fear for, all arrangements are in place to stop anyone who might have in mind to cause mayhem during and after the festival," he advised.
Aliyu equally called on individuals to raise alarm at any time a suspicious movement capable of causing insecurity in the State, pointing that security should be seen as everybody's business.
