African continental group identifies Ebonyi for excellent awards, investment

A group known as the African Industry Award has concluded its plan to storm Ebonyi State to dish out awards of excellence to the befitting individuals, groups and companies based on their respective performances.

Mr. Henry Amaechi Ogwudu, the Director African Industry Ward said the group has commenced its investigation and criticism to enable its members facilitate the selection of the meritorious awardees in a press briefing at Abakaliki.

He described African Industry Ward as a continental platform which rewards and appreciates Africans, both individuals and companies that are doing well by touching lives in a mega style.


The platform aims at adding value to the African countries and the citizens across the globe, NATIONAL PANEL also gathered.


Ogwudu further, stated that the group's awards would cut across people and groups that have distinguished themselves in different sectors by touching humans positively.

"We have a lot of sectors like the hospitality, medical, civil, politics, economy, entertainment, every aspect of life and even in entrepreneurial development. 

"It is a very big platform where we pick people from different categories to receive the awards.

"This award has existed in some other states in Nigeria like Enugu to be precise, and Ebonyi this time. 

"So, Ebonyi State will host people from all over Africa, different countries, companies and groups coming to see what Ebonyi can offer and this event will hold on 11th of September, 2021 at Akanu Ibiam International Conference Centre Abakaliki," the Director unveiled.

He added: "Ebonyi State to be precise, will surely benefit from this platform; because, we are going to bring in investors. The investors will come to Ebonyi and see that the governor is willingly to receive them.

"Then, they will definitely choose to invest in Ebonyi, because, when there are more immigrants in the state, automatically, its development will improve. 


"When we have companies creating business here, people will chase the business and be coming to Ebonyi.

"By then, the state population will be gradually improving and automatically development can take place speedily." 

Ogwudu equally commended the Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. David Nweze Umahi's led administration and disclosed that the group has arranged to give Ebonyi State a standard and wider coverage for the consumption of the international communities during the event.


 "I must commend His Excellency, the Governor of Ebonyi State, he has done wonderfully well. I feel extremely happy when I stepped into this state.


"In fact, we are going to come with video cameras to shot the day and night scenes of every part of the state, and when we send them out there, you see people will ask; is this in Nigeria or Dubai? We've applauded Governor David Umahi for his developmental strides in Ebonyi State."
