Emegha Stated this on Saturday at Pa Ngele Oruta township stadium, Abakaliki, while addressing over 1,500 men and operatives of Ebubeagu South East Security outfit, Ebonyi State Command, drawn from the 13 Local Government Areas and Urban.
The special security Consultant said, the days of laxity and unseriouseness to duty were over, noting that those who sees the job as a political Patronage should better sit up or be shown the way out.
Emegha urged the men to take full charge of the security of their various local Government Areas, assuring them that the Governor has approved incentives and other operational logistics to aid them in carrying out their legitimate duty.
He said, henceforth, there's no longer sit at home in the various LGAs in the state. He however ordered that all the LGAs must embark on show of force every Monday to create awareness across the 13 LGAs in the state, pointing out that logistics will be made available for the operation.
Emegha Stated further that more operational vehicles has been approved by the governor, reiterating that the security outfit now have everything to match every security threat anywhere in the state, urging them to ensure they carry out their job professionally, as their operation is backed by law.
He mandated all the operatives in the various Local Government Areas to report to the Divisional Police Headquarters every Monday for deployment, as healthy synergy has been created with the police for joint operation and monitoring.
On his part, the permanent secretary, ministry of internal security border peace and conflict resolution, Barr. Ogbonnaya Otta urged them to heed to directives of the consultant as Government is determined to tackle the security head on.
In attendance were the commanders from the 13 Local Government Areas and leaders from the various units in the urban among others.
