Many smiled home to their kitchens in two communities in Alayi, Bende LGA, Abia State on Saturday, September 25, 2021. LifeCare fed many homes as the NGO distributed assorted types of food and personal protective gear against Covid- 19 to pregnant women, widows and the elderly in its relief outreach in the ancient city. Rice, tomatoes, salt, indomie and more were distributed to beneficiaries.
LifeCare is an NGO headquartered in the United States with branches in Nigeria and Togo. The communities that benefited in the fifth phase exercise were Okwonta - Amankalu and Umuenyere both in Alayi.
