The Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor on Internal security, Hon. Eze Panchris Ikechukwu (Power), have said that the south East security outfit (Ebubeagu) Ebonyi State Command, is not bordered by the skimishes of some criminal and disgruntled elements and their sponsors in discrediting the war against crimes in the state, noting that the security outfit is prepared more than ever, to wage war against crimes in the state, stating that the only way of escape is for the criminal elements to leave the state or else, should be ready to face the full weight of law.
Eze, further warned those hiding under the IPOB's sit-at-home order to perpetrate crime against the state, to refrain from such act as the order is no longer operational in the state.
The Special Assistant to the Governor on Internal security urged all Ebonyians to go about their daily lawful Business, stressing that those who have refused to obey Government order but continue to heed to the sit-at-home order, which according to him, has been discarded, will soon have themselves to be blamed.
Eze while monitoring the business activities in Abakaliki metropolis on Monday, expressed satisfaction with the turnaround of event. He assured all Ebonyians of the commitment Governor David Umahi's administration in the security of life and property of all those living in the state, as the Governor has invested heavily in the security sector of the state.
The Special Assistant further urged the general public to always furnish the security agencies with useful information as it will go long way in assisting the security agencies in the discharge of their daily duty.
