Chief Austin Umahi has emerge winner of the Ebonyi South Senatorial primary election held this Saturday.
Austin Umahi, who is the younger brother to Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State, polled 279 to defeat his opponent, Mrs Ann Agomeze who gannered one vote.
Similarly, the incubent Chairman of Ezza South Local Government Area, Engr Kenneth Eze polled 289 votes to clinch Ebonyi Centra Senatorial ticket.
Eze was however returned unopposed as no other candidate stood for the primary election against him.
On the other hand, the former Chairman of the people's Democratic party PDP, in Ebonyi State and the immediate past Commissioner for Capital City Development, Barr. Onyekachi Peter Nwebonyi polled 272 Votes to emerge winner and flag bearer of Ebonyi North Senatorial ticket for the APC.
