The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC in Ebonyi state, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha has commended the Ebonyi State Independent Electoral Commission (EBSIEC) for the peaceful conduct of Local Government Council and Ward Councilorship elections in the State.
Speaking with journalist shortly after casting his Vote at polling unit 008 Ameke ward, Chief Emegha, lauded the tenacious leadership of the leader of the party in the state, Engr David Umahi for providing the platform for the enthronement of Democratic principle in the state. He thanked the people for believing in the APC and turning out in mass to exercise their franchise assuring them that the APC Government in Afikpo South, under Prince Chima Ekumankama will step down the achievements of Engr David Umahi in Area and further consolidate on the Governor's infrastructural interventions in the Area.
Emegha further expressed confidence in the capacity of the incoming Chairman of Afikpo South, Prince Chima Ekumankama to unite the people and work with the councilors and stakeholders to restore ensuring peace in the area.
