Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the All Progressives Congress APC, Ebonyi State Chapter has launched a sensitization program aimed at educating members on some winning strategies that must be domesticated.
Speaking during the program tagged "Ebonyi women let's do it again" organised by the women wing of the APC at their secretariat in Abakakili, the state party Chairman, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha commended the state women leader Mrs Queendaline Nwigwe and other leaders
drawn from the 171 Electoral wards as well as 13 local government areas for coming up with such an impressive and impactful program.
He further charged them to embark on door to door aggressive sensitization campaign which will help to educate the masses on the need to get their PVCs and support the ruling party to win the forthcoming general elections convincingly.
Chief Emegha said, although APC is a party that prioritizes the welfare of every citizen, committed members must be rewarded in due time.
"I am deeply impressed by the turnout of these women leaders of our party who are very enthusiastic of winning the general elections next year. You can not undermine the strength of women. They are fervent and have shown enough resilience to this course. Please do not discriminate against anyone. APC is one united family".
"I'm charging you to continue to work hard to promote our party, her candidates and Governor David Umahi who has through his unprecedented achievements made the campaign very easy for all of us. We have a reward system that has already factored their needs into the programs and policies of the government".
The State Women Leader of the APC, Mrs Queendaline Nwigwe said the essence of meeting was to brainstorm on the party's progress and appreciate their stakehlolders especially the Governor and his wife for their benevolence towards the vulnerable especially women and children in the state.
The women leaders who were educated on several issues bordering on grassroot mobilisation, PVC importance among others are expected to domesticate the crux of the program in their respective localities.
