The Association of Ikwo Noyo media practitioners (AIMP), has Congratulated Ikwo local Government council Chairman Elect, Barr Sunday Nwankwo, on his overwhelming victory at the poll.
In a statement signed by the national president of the Association, Comrade Samuel Nwanchor and the national Secretary, Comrade Celestine Chidi Okeh, the group assured the Chairman elect of the readiness of the Association to continue to promote the activities of the council for the overall Development of Ikwo Noyo clan.
The statement reads; "We, members of the Association of Ikwo Noyo Media Practitioners most warmly congratulate the Chairman-elect of Ikwo Local Government Area, Barr. Sunday Nwankwo on his landslide victory in the just concluded Council elections in Ebonyi State.
"As we celebrate with you on this well-deserved victory of yours, the Association of Ikwo Noyo Media Practitioners urges you to use your immense goodwill and vision to commence preparations for a transparent, accountable and development-oriented government that will give the people of Nwanoyo Clan a breath of fresh air.
"We are urging the stakeholders of Ikwo to close ranks and support the new chairman-elect in this journey of governance and remind him that Ikwo is in dare need of basic amenities and therefore advice him to set his eagle eyes on programmes and policies geared towards ensuring lasting peace, unity, Security, development and general well-being of all sons and daughters of Nwanoyo.
"Even though the Association remains non-partisan, it is ready to support and partner individuals, groups, Organizations and government with the interest of Ikwo at heart.
