The member representing Ikwo/ Ezza South federal constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Comrade Chinedu Ogah, has distributed relief materials worrh millions of naira to flood victims in his Constituency.
Hon. Ogah, who is also the Deputy chairman, House Committee on poverty alleviation, attracted the relief materials from Federal Government through the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, and distributed same to the flood victims of communities in the Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
The affected communities that benefited from the relief materials Include Echara, Ebiem Ekpaomaka, Inyimegu, Igbudu Il, Alike, and others, all from Ikwo Local Government Area of the State.
The deputy director of the National Emergency Management Agency, Southeast, Mr. Godwin Thickman Tamino, and his team witnessed the distribution of the relief materials to the victims of the affected communities.
Mr. Thickman commended Hon. Ogah for his outstanding achievements and successes he has attracted to his constituency through NEMA. He said that there's outstanding relief material coming to the Ikwo/ Ezza South constituency; courtesy of Hon. Ogah.
He sympathized with the flood victims and advised them to make judicious use of the materials attracted to them by their lawmaker.
The visit attracted some government personalities and elders from Ikwo Local Government Area, including Elder Nwegede Idah, Ikwo South East development coordinator, Hon. John Ogodo and many others.
Hon. Ogah used the opportunity to enlighten the people on the need to vote for all the All Progressives Congress candidates in the forthcoming general election, including Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, Engr. Chief Ken Eze and other APC candidates.
The items include phantoms of wrapper, blankets, clothes, bags of Rice, bags of Beans, mosquito nets, mattresses, ceiling boards, and bundles of Zinc.
