The All Progressives Congress Party in Ebonyi State has called for cancellation of the Saturday elections in five local government areas of the State.
The chairman of the Party in Ebonyi State, Stanley Okoro Emegha made the Party's stand known while briefing newsmen Tuesday in Abakaliki, the State capital.
The local government areas, according to him were Afikpo North, Ezza North, Ivo, Onicha and Ohaukwu.
Emegha alleged that the party has proofs of irregularities perpetrated by some opposition parties in conivance with security agencies in the State to deliberately void votes cast in favour of the Party.
He also alleged that there were incidences of violence against the party supporters in some areas, leading to the killing of its party agent in Izzi local government area of the State.
Emegha said the Party has raised petition to the INEC resident electoral Commissioner in the State over the issues, urging the Commission to order a forensic examination of the ballot papers and other voting materials from the affected areas.
Emegha said: "For example, in places like Afikpo North, there were a lot of manipulations from the opposition party voiding our already captured votes.
"We got a clear information that what they were doing there was to bring out ballot papers in favour of our Party, the APC, and double the finger prints in order to void them.
"This they did in conivance with security agencies.
"I bet you if you can do a forensic examination of the double thumb prints, you will discover the variations.
"We decided not to be confrontational, but to write to INEC for cancellation of results in such areas.
"Such things also happened at Ezza North, Ohaukwu, and Ivo local government areas.
"There were also manipulations through diversion of voting materials to secret locations for thumb printing by the opposition against the party.
"All these are not acceptable to us.
"And all these are done in conivance with the Police; the security agencies that are supposed to assist Mr President in giving Nigerians credible election."
Earlier, the Director General of the State APC Campaign Council, Chief Austin Umahi had briefed Journalists on related issues where he directly accused the Ebonyi South Labour Party Senatorial Candidate, Hon. Linus Okorie of mainly masterminding irregularities and security breaches in the area.
Meanwhile, according to INEC announced results so far, the three senatorial seats in the State are won by the All Progressives Congress: Governor David Umahi for the South, Ken Eze for Central and Onyekachi Nwebonyi for Ebonyi North senatorial district.
