An Entrepreneur and Chairman of the EDON Group of Companies, Dr Edward Nkwegu (EDON) has advised every eligible voter to vote with the consciousness of fostering harmony, social justice and progress of Ebonyi people in the Saturday 11th March elections.
The Ebonyi-born captain of industry gave this advice on Sunday during his Special Thanksgiving Ceremony at Bishop Thomas McGettrick's Pastoral Centre in Abakaliki, the State Capital.
Dr Nkwegu who flagged the 2023 governorship flag of the Labour Party in Ebonyi, urged the residents of the state to vote with their conscience in the forthcoming polls.
He, however, thanked God for His protection and guidance upon him and all the members and supporters of the Labour Party in the state.
He described God's benevolence and care upon the Labour Party faithful during their campaign trains in the state as the major pointer for the Special Church Thanksgiving ceremony.
Nkwegu was accompanied to the Church Thanksgiving service by the candidates of the Labour Party in the state, the State officials of the Labour Party including their Chairman, Hon Godwin Jioke, the Director General of the Ebonyi Liberation Campaign Council, Barrister George Ukpai and his team, the State Coordinator of Coalition for Peter Obi Groups, Chief John Inya Agha, South East Zonal officials of his party and other sundry supporters from across the business, the political and religious factions who turn out in mass to give him solidarity during the event.
