Ebonyi State Governor, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has sent his warm felicitations to president Tinubu's new appointees, commending the president for appointing people with vast experience into the positions.
In press statement personally signed by the Governor, reads.
"The Governor of Ebonyi, Rt Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has felicitated the Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Sen. George Akume and Sen. Ibrahim Hadejia on their appointments as Chief of Staff, Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Deputy Chief of Staff respectively .
"On behalf of the government and good people of Ebonyi State, I sincerely felicitate the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Femi Gbajabiamila on your appointment as Chief of Staff to the President.
"In the same vein, I congratulate the former Governor of Benue State and immediate past Minister for Special Duties, His Excellency, Senator George Akume on your appointment as Secretary to Government of the Federation, SGF by Mr. President.
"To my brother, the former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, Senator Ibrahim Hadejia on your appointment as Deputy Chief of Staff, I congratulate you on your well deserved appointment."
"The Governor noted that the appointments of the three key officers were received with great joy because of their sterling performances in their various positions of trust and expressed confidence that they will perform better in their new responsibilities.
"He commended Mr. President for choosing them to contribute their wealth of experiences in nation building and prayed God to give them all the enablements to help Mr. President achieve his campaign promises".
Recall that Nigeria President, Bola Tinubu on Friday, while meeting with the Progressives Governor's forum announced the appointment of the speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila as his Chief of staff while the former Governor of Benue State, George Akume, the Secretary to Government of the federation and former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, Senator Ibrahim Hadejia as the Deputy Chief of staff.
