Ebonyi Gov Doles Out 11m Scholarship Aid To Postgraduate Student

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Right Honourable Francis Nwifuru has approved the release of the sum of eleven million naira to one Collins Okechukwu Egbe from Ikwo Local Government Area of the State to pursue a Postgraduate Studies in the United Kingdom.

The Governor conveyed  the approval to the beneficiary through the Commissioner for Education in-charge of Tertiary Education, Professor Amari Omaka in Abakaliki on Thursday.

Governor Nwifuru said though he had carried out several of such educational intervention to needy Ebonyians since coming onboard as Governor, he would not relent until virtually all Ebonyians desirous of decent education is able to do so.

The Governor appealed to the beneficiary and other beneficiaries of Government benevolence to take their studies seriously and be good Ambassadors of the State wherever they find themselves.

The beneficiary, Collins Okechukwu Egbe will be doing a Masters Degree in Biomedical Science in the University of East London, United Kingdom.
