The member representing Ohaozara, Onicha and Ivo Federal Constituency, Hon Nkemkama Kama has donated a borehole to the Nigeria Union of Congress, NUJ Ebony State Council.
This was contained in a communique issued during the council's emergency meeting, endorsed by its Chairman, Comrade Samson Nwafor yesterday.
The council urged other public-spirited individuals to emulate the federal lawmaker by assisting the union in other areas of need to enable Journalists in the state to function optimally.
"Congress commends the Member representing Ohaozara, Onicha and Ivo Federal Constituency, Hon. Nkemkama Kama for donating a borehole to Ebonyi State Council of NUJ; and urges other public-spirited individuals to emulate the federal Lawmaker by assisting the Union on other areas of need to enable Journalists in the State function optimally," the communique hinted.
Hon Nkemkama Kama is a House of Representatives member on the platform of the Labour Party flag at the 10th National Assembly.
The borehole will be drilled at the State Secretariat of the NUJ, Dr Sam Egwu Press Centre Abakaliki capital city.
