During the occasion, Comrade Ogah commended the Town Union Presidents for the good works they are doing to keep our communities peaceful.
He promised to assist them to maintain the existing peace in Ikwo in support of the government of His Excellency, Bldr Francis Ogbonnia Nwifuru and Her Excellency, The Wife of the Governor, our dear sister.
Specifically, he directed the President-Generals of every community to report to him any threats to peace in their areas, promising to handle such threats in person.
In addition, he tasked all of them to initiate any development project of their choice in their communities, promising to fund 50% of such projects.
He announced the commencement of his annual general empowerment program from 26 June 2024, to which he invited the Town Union Leadership.
He later gifted each of them with Solar powered electricity poles and lamps with undisclosed amounts of money.
In his vote of thanks, the Chairman of the Forum, Dr Azubuike Onwe thanked Comrade Ogah for his love for the Forum, pointing out that this is not the first time he is celebrating with them. He described Comrade Ogah as an exceptional personality who is not just a politician but also a philanthropist, an educationist, a peace maker, a bridge builder, grandmaster of infrastructure and human empowerment as well as succor provider to the downtrodden in the society.
The Forum prayed for God's blessings on Comrade Ogah, and for higher positions and long life to enable him serve humanity in higher capacity.
