NUJ Inuagurates New Chapel in Ebonyi

The Nigeria Union of Journalist Ebonyi State Council on Monday, inaugurated a new chapel,  'Cardinal Point Chapel'. 

Inaugurating the new chapel at Dr Sam Egwu Press Center Abakaliki, , the chairman of NUJ, Ebonyi State Council, Comrade Samson Nwafor admonished the new chapel to guide against any act or conduct that would bring disrepute to the profession but should rather operate in accordance with the Constitution of NUJ. 
He Commended the publisher and the Chairman of Cardinal Point Chapel', Dr Eugene Otu Chukwu for his outstanding contribution to Journalism Profession in the state and urged him to use the chapel to advance the cause of the profession in the state.

Earlier, the State secretary of NUJ, Comrade Nnamdi said the chapel met the necessary criteria for it to stand as a chapel.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the chapel, Dr. Eugene Otu Chukwu thanked the State Council of NUJ for finding them worthy to be inuagurated as a chapel. He pledged total commitment to making the union stronger, through professional practice and loyalty to the Leadership and constitution of NUJ.
The new chapel inuaguration was attended by staff and management of Cardinal Point Newspaper, some executive members of the State Council of NUJ and other Journalists.
