Reflecting On The Legislative Stewardship Of Rt Hon Comrade Chinedu Ogah


As National Assembly lawmakers mark their inauguration's anniversary today, it is pertinent to reflect on the legislative scorecards of an uncommon leader, the Member Representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Reformatory Institutions, Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah, OON

11. Need to end the intractable war between the people of Ochienyim Amagu Ikwo in Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State and Adadama in Abi Local Government Area of Cross River State etc.

12. Need for urgent response to the current flood disaster in parts of Ebonyi State.

13. The need to commence immediate payment of recently recruited constables into the Nigerian Police Force.

14. Rehabilitation of Abandomed Water Scheme at Ohatekwe in Ikwo Local Government area of Ebonyi State.

16. Need to Investigate the Refusal of Access Bank Plc to call back its Seventy-Five percent staff recently laid off despite the directive from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to do so.

17. Urgent need to clear the menace of shipwreck in the Nations sea and Maritime Environment.

18. Need to investigate the loss of 10 Trillion naira arising from Falsification of Acceptance Certificates, Import/Export waiver documents.

19. Call on the Federal Government to immediately capture newly employed persons in Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges, Example Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka and University of Calabar.

20. Need to Revitalize Ebonyi Salt Lakes.
