COUNCIL POLL: Ikwo Council Chairman Dedicates Electoral Victory To God

The reelected Executive Chairman of Ikwo Local Government Area, Hon. Barr Sunday Basil Nwankwo has described his reelection victory as the act of God and the reelection of the wills of the people of Ikwo Noyo Clan. The Chairman who was full of gratitude to God, Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and the electorates, dedicated the victory to God who perfected the entire process.

Speaking shortly after he was declared winner of the Council Election, Barr. Nwankwo who scored 83791 votes, thanked the electorates for believing in him and for the renewed mandate for consolidation and continuity of the legacy administration in Ikwo Local Governmenet Area. He reassured the people that his administration will sustain its commitment to welfare, legacy projects, policies and other priority needs of the people of Ikwo Noyo Clan.

The Ikwo Council Boss commended Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for all the support and thrust reposed in him, and for the conducive environment for the successful conduct of the council poll. He thanked the electoral umpire for ensuring transparency and decorum all through the process.

Bldr Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, the people welfare Governor of Ebonyi State and the master of modern democracy for his believe in due process and ideals of democracy. Your Excellency’s approach and disposition to governance is the result of the peace, unity, success and orderliness we are enjoying today in Ebonyi State.

“Let me also thank the good people of Ikwo Noyo Clan for renewing their thrust and confidence in our legacy administration. As always, let me again assure them that we will continue to collaborate to ensure that priority needs of our people that are within the confine of our resources are given the needed attention. We shall further step down the peoples Charter of needs mantra of His Excellency our dear Governor to the grassroots.
