Federal Lawnmaker Distributes Over 1,200 Bags Of Fertilizer To Farmers In Ebonyi

The member representing Ikwo/Ezza Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Comrade Chinedu Ogah has distributed over 1,200 bags of fertilizer to farmers from his constituency.

The 50kg bags of the fertilizer distributed to the farmers were Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium, NPK 27:13:23. 

The lawmaker distributed the fertilizer on Friday at Abakaliki, and said the farm inputs would help the beneficiaries to do exploits in their agricultural activities in the state.
Ogah, the Chairman of the House Committee on Reformatory Institutions, advised the beneficiaries of the fertilizer distribution to make judicious use of the agricultural input, noting that the economic situation in the country needs everybody to embrace practical farming to promote food security.
He stated that the gesture was part of complementing the efforts of Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State in the area of Agriculture development, among his  other contributions towards the economic revival in the state.
The Federal lawmaker used the opportunity to advise his constituents to vote massively for the candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC come Saturday, 20th July 2024 local government and ward council elections in the state.
His words: "We are here to share the 800 bags given to us by the National Assembly. It will be shared across party lines, stakeholders, and different support groups. 

"We everybody regardless of party to benefit, and our own is to complement the effort of our Governor. Please, make sure that you use the farm input judiciously, because we are interested in agriculture development.
“Everybody that believes in me should come out and vote APC tomorrow for Local Government and Ward Council elections. Every stakeholder that doen't go home for the voting has no believed in me."
