We'll Not Protests In Ikwo - Youth Leader Assures

The All Progressives Congress Party (APC) Youth Leader of Ikwo Local Government Area, Comrade Uchenna Nwanchor ( Bakasi) has commended the good administration of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Bldr. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and the Executive Chairman of Ikwo Local Government Area, Hon. Barr. Sunday Basil Nwankwo for their unwavering contributions and developmental milestones in Ikwo local government area and Ebonyi State at large, especially their glaring attitudes in ensuring life and properties are well protected in the State. 

Nwanchor while addressing youths at Ikwo Local Government Headquarter praised the significant sagacity and scorecard of Nwifuru's administration and his counterparts in Ikwo local government area. 

The APC youth leader declared that the proposed nation-wide protests by some youths would not hold water or take place in Ikwo Local Government Area, describing the Council as the most peaceful and loving in the whole of Nigeria.

"His Excellency, the governor has been running an all inclusive government and ensuring that all entitlement due for Local Government Chairmen are given to them for the development and progress of the council"

 "We have no doubt that protest is a fundamental human right that must be respected and upheld but we will not be part of the planned protests against the government rather, we will continue to support our leaders to succeed."

" Protest is not relevant to remedy any situation assuming there is one, all we need is peace, unity, support and encouragement to ensure that Nigeria moves forward to it's expected glory "

"Anyone who plans to join any protest in Ikwo local government area is  a sacrificial lamb and such a person stands alone because the area is not known for violence and any attempt to cause violence shall be resisted at all cost" Comrade Nwanchor vowed.

The youth leader assured the governor of Ebonyi State their readiness to continue giving their support to the government at all levels while assuring him that they will not join the protest against the government since they are part of the  government and urge everyone to go out for  their normal daily businesses other than the imaginary protests.

He distanced the youths of Ikwo LGA from the proposed nation wide protest while calling on all the youths to desist from anything that would bridge unity, bring social vices or tarnish the golden image of the Local Government, adding that all hands are on deck in support of the good administration of His Excellency, the governor of Ebonyi State and the Chairman of Ikwo Local Government Area.
