The Chairman of APC in Ebonyi State, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha has sent out his warmest felicitation to the first lady of the state, Chief Mrs Mary Maudline Uzoamaka Nwifuru and the entire women of the state as they mark this year's August meeting.
In a statement personally signed by the Chairman, enjoined the women to imbibe the virtues of love, peace and unity as exemplified by the mother of the State.
"May I, on behalf of the Ebonyi State Working Committee (SWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and members of the party in the state warmly extend felicitations to the first lady of the state, Her Excellency, Chief Mrs Uzoamaka Mary-Maudline Ogbonna Nwifuru on the occasion of this year's August meeting.
"Your Excellency, you have displayed great passion, resilience and dedication towards building the strength of Ebonyi women in order to make them more resolute, valuable and indispensable both in the home front and as well in governance.
"This resolve no doubt, informed the title of the 2024 August meeting "A wise Woman Builds Her Home". The theme is apt, well thought out and most commendable as it will assist in boosting the knowledge of the participants on a wide range of issues and invariably impact positively on their families and the nation at large.
'Your Excellency, the wife of our dear Governor, this outing last year trained and empowered many women with several start up kits such as sowing machines and today testimonies of positive transformation abounds. They did not only master their areas of trade but they are helping to lessen the financial burden at home and also create job opportunities for others.
"Therefore, I charge participants of this program to learn and emulate the virtues of love, peace, unity and hand work, the first lady preaches on a daily basis. They should prioritize their God's giving roles especially in taking care of members of their families because a healthy home births a virile nation.
"Wishing you a peaceful and impact filled August Congress.
"Long live, your Excellency
Long live, Ebonyi Women
Long live, Ebonyi State".
