Forum of APC youth leaders in Ezza North Local Government Area has commended the transformative efforts of the Ebonyi state Governor, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and called on all Ezza sons and daughters both at home and in diaspora to support the Government of Governor Nwifiru to take the state to higher heights.
This was contained in a communique issued at the end their meeting held at Ebiaji, Ezza North council headquarters and made available to our correspondent in Abakaliki.
The communique reads in full:
"A COMMUNIQUE ISSUED BY THE FORUM OF EZZA NORTH ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS( APC) WARD YOUTH LEADERS DURING HER MEETING HELD AT THE LG HEADQUARTERS EBIAJI ON 17th AUGUST, 2024
"RE: A VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON THE LEADERSHIP OF OUR PARTY AND ADOPTION OF OUR WONDER WORKING GOVERNOR, HIS EXCELLENCY RT. HON. BLDR. FRANCIS OGBONNA NWIFURU FOR SECOND TERM IN OFFICE COME 2027
"Arising from the meeting of the forum of APC WARD YOUTH LEADERS, Ezza North LGA, we have unanimously resolved as follows,
1. That we commend highly the leadership of our great party,the All progressives Congress (APC) ably led at the state by Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha and at the Local Government by Chief Micheal Awoke for their doggedness in steering the affairs of the party to the much desired level which has brought unprecedented unity and progress in our great party.
"That we commend most highly the Executive Governor of Ebonyi state and the leader of All progressive Congress APC in Ebonyi state,His Excellency Rt. Hon. Bldr. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru (FNIOB, GGCEHF) for his leadership strides that has brought tremendous improvement in all facets of human endeavors in our state "the salt of the nation"
"That we commend our Governor His Excellency Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for the appointment of our sons and daughters of Ezza North Local Government in various positions of trust including but not limited to Hon. Chief Victor Chukwu (Commissioner for Environment), Chief Barr. Ikeuwa Omebe (Commissioner for rural development), Hon. Engr. Jude Okpor (Commissioner for Information), Hon. Prince Emeka Igboke (Commissioner for transport and special projects) Comr. Emeka Nwoñu (Executive Secretary Ebonyi state Local Government Staff Pension Board), Hon. Haggai Nwokpor (SA to the Governor on internal Security Ezza North), Hon. Zanza Enyi (SA to the Governor on Airport Security), Hon. Barr. Maria Okohu (SA to the Governor on women mobilization Ebonyi Central), Hon. Chinedu Nwoye (Member Ebonyi state Market Dev. Board) and others too numerous to mention.
"That we commend His Excellency our Wonder working Governor His Excellency RT. HON. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru (Onwa Offerekpe) for the numerous projects ongoing in our Local Government Area which includes but not limited to the approval for the construction of 13km Oriuzor road, approval for the construction of Akadoro bridge, construction of 2km road in each of the communities in Ezza North LGA, Construction of befitting palace for our traditional rulers and lots more
"That we call on all the sons and daughters of Ezza Ezzekuna Extraction both at home and in diaspora to wholeheartedly throw their weight behind the well meaning policies and programs of our God- Given Governor His Excellency Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru i the good of Ebonyians in general and ours in particular.
"That in appreciation for the self-less leadership ingenuity of our Wonder working Governor His Excellency Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru (FNIOB, GGCEHF), We have therefore unanimously adopted him as our sole candidate for the gubernatorial election come 2027 to the glory of God".
