The last batch of entrance examination into HOPE HIGH British International School Abakaliki Ebonyi State for the 2024/2025 academic session will hold on August 24, 2024 in Abakaliki.
The time for the entrance examination is scheduled for 11am at the school’s premises located along No 6 Onwe road, Abakaliki, Ebonyi state .
prospective candidates for the examination are expected to be seated at 10:30 am on the day of the examination.

Meanwhile, two best graduating students of the institution at the secondary school cadre for the last 2023/ 2024 academic session, Miss Eze Anita Chisom and Onor Ucheoma Chukwu have bag university scholarship for their outstanding performances.
Miss Eze Anita Chisom won the best graduating students in sciences while Miss Onor Ucheoma Chukwu took the lead in the Arts subjects.
The awards were presented to them by the first civilian Governor of Ebonyi State, Dr. Sam Ominyi Egwu during the school 3023/2024 graduation ceremony.
Dr. Egwu who expressed deep gratitude to the management of the institution for producing brilliant students congratulated the beneficiaries for their outstanding academic performances.
The Ebonyi State Commissioner for Education( primary, secondary), Prof. Humphrey Nwaobasi in his remarks at the event described HOPE HIGH BRITISH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS as a centre of excellence and urged the school management to sustain the academic achievements for which the school is known for.
Prof Nwaobasi expressed delight over the appreciable level of discipline and decorum found in the school pointing out that it was the basis for teaching and learning in any given society.
On his part, the chairman of the school Board, Prof. Ike Elechi who spoke on behalf of the management of the school noted that the Hope High has maintained quantifiable and moral excellence for the past twenty years of it’s existence stressing that the institution was founded on the principles of diligence, hard work and zero tolerance to academic and moral excellence.
He disclosed that the institution has been accredited by the Cambridge university schools which has made it a full-fledged British institution adding that international examination for foreign universities can now be conducted in the school.
Prof Elechi called on parents to avail themselves of this rare opportunity to offer their children and wards the best education.
He thanked the first civilian Governor of Ebonyi State, and former senator representing Ebonyi North Dr. Sam Ominyi Egwu for awarding university scholarship to the best two graduating students as it will motivate upcoming students to study harder.
In his appreciation, father of one of the two beneficiaries of the university scholarship, Rev Dr. Torty Onor who spoke on behalf of the two thanked the first civilian Governor of Ebonyi State, Dr. Sam Ominyi Egwu for his magnanimity and expressed gratitude to the management of the institution for her academic excellence.
He urged other parents to bring their children and wards to the school for effective learning.
Highlights of the event were debates, news presentations and cultural performances by the students of the college as well as public presentation of Anthology authored by students of the school who are members of school’s Literary Society.
