However, the impact of the late Warlord is at the moment in labyrinth of crisis, facing an almost extinction period in the political space of Nigeria and Anambra State in particular. No thanks to the surplus to requirements of his wife, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu to political market.
Ever since the demise of Ojukwu, the political trajectory of his wife, Bianca has presented the image of late Ikemba as subject to ridicule which when only appraised from its negative perspective looks like an aborted pregnancy.
In apparent gesture of state government under the leadership of Peter Obi, late Ojukwu was placed on monthly allowance of N15m which covered both living and medical expenses.
Since the death of Ojukwu, Peter Obi and successive administrations had maintained the payment of the monthly allowance to Ojukwu's family which Bianca was receiving till the emergence of Prof Chukwuma Soludo.
Apart from the release of the huge amount of money from the Anambra tax payers' money to Ojukwus, there were other incentives approved for her. She received this money throughout Governor Willie Obiano's eight years administration.
To further discuss the callousness and addiction of Bianca to primitive acquisition of wealth and power, she jettisoned everything about the late husband and pursued personal interest which made her a readily available caller to any politician in the State and beyond.
The cheapness of Bianca was made manifest when Governor Chukwuma Soludo took over as governor of Anambra State. I leave you to the rest of the events that took place during the swearing in ceremony of Governor Soludo.
It takes more than beauty to be useful in the society as Ndi Anambra no longer fancy facial appearance or quantum of academic success to measure leadership qualities.
It is on record that since the death of Ojukwu that APGA has never won election in Ojukwu's area being now manned by his wife, Bianca.
Suffice it to say that left for the cheapness of Bianca, her political success would have been felt today across the state
It was not just embarrassing enough that Ojukwu's wife in the person if Bianca could come out to contest for the APGA ticket to run for senate and was disgraced by both the party and delegates.
This points to the fact that she has lost her crown which was Ikemba our brother and had failed to live to sustain the big shoe of her late husband. Instead of leveraging on the popularity and acceptability of Ojukwu and the dominance of APGA to excel, she rather chose to be going after the crumbs from the table of politicians in the State.
It's a shame!
Soludo did not only relegated Ojukwu's family to the back but also subtly removed the insignia of Ojukwu from the APGA logo, thereby making Ojukwu who was the face of APGA a nobody.
People expected Bianca to raise issue of the practical relegation of Ojukwu from the party he formed and nurtured, but she was so busy gallivanting from one politician to the other.
Since the death of Ojukwu, it is good to say that Bianca has been playing "where belle face politics" which is not just only an insult to the memory of the late Ikemba, our brother but to the entire Igbo race.
One would have believed that Bianca's affinity with Peter Obi was based on principle or the age long love that existed between her late husband and Peter Obi, but one wonders again why she quickly ditched Peter Obi and ran to Willie Obiano.
This was same Bianca who rained curses and abuses on Peter Obi when he left APGA. She cursed him saying it shall never be well with him. Little did people know she was doing that naked dance in the market place to please Obiano and be in the good books of the governor in order to continue receiving the monthly stipend of N15m of Ndi Anambra.
Her action smacks of a greedy and cheap woman who doesn't have conscience but desperate for power and relevance at the expense of her family and the entire Igbo land.
As it stands now, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu will be weeping in his grave over the behaviour of his wife, a woman he loved so much and sacrificed all his life for. Let it be known that we the people of Nnewi are watching Bianca closely from now going forward.
We are watching with great disappointment how she has become so cheap and surplus to market requirements by frolicking from one politician to the other in search of relevance which our brother had already bequeathed to her if not for her insatiable quest for power.
It was Ojukwu's last wish that APGA will always remember him and his sacrifices for Ndigbo and it beats my imagination that Bianca just because of peanut allowed Soludo desecrate the memory of Ojukwu by removing his image from the APGA logo and what the party stands for. Yet Ojukwu had a wife who ordinarily should have perpetuated his legacies.
