Gov. Nwifiru Is Doing Everything Possible To Alleviate Sufferings Of Ebonyians -- Igwe

The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy matters, Mr Uchenna Igwe, said, Governor Francis Nwifiru is doing everything possible to alleviate the sufferings of Ebonyians through his Administrative Mantra of People's Charter of Needs and no appointee is expected to disappoint the Governor. . 

He highlighted the progressive achievements of the Executive Governor since his assumption of office and said that Ebonyi State has never had it this good and urged everyone to support the administration of the Governor.

The Commissioner stated this on Thursday during  an enlarged meeting with the management Committee Members of the 64 Development Centes in his office, Abakaliki, the state capital.


Igwe, charged the management committee members to always justify the reasons for their appointments 


He emphasized the importance of the meeting stating that it was aimed at sensitizing them on their roles at the grassroot as the ambassadors of the State Governor.


 He admonished them to see their appointment as not only a call to service but a trust bestowed on them by the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State,His Excellency Rt.Hon.BLDR. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru FNIOB FCAI, GGCEHF and must give their best for the success of the administration of the Executive Governor. 


He added ,"I, appeal to all management committee members to avoid all forms of misunderstanding and crisis with the coordinators but seek for peaceful means of addressing your concerns and problems.
 
"I urge you all to ensure you have monthly meetings with your Development Center Coordinators for effective administration". 

Speaking on behalf of the Management Committee Members, Mr.Micheal Chukwu from Ohaozara Development Center appreciated the Governor for choosing them to serve in their respective Development Centers .He assured the Commissioner that they will never disappoint the Governor instead that they will continue to support and promote the policies and programs of the government at the grassroots.
