The Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Moses Ije Odunwa, has enjoined Members of Onwa Oferekpe Foundation, Ikwo Local Government Area Chapter to enhance their support to the Executive led by the State Governor, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, to actualize the needs of Ebonyi people. Chief Odunwa said this when he received the group at his hometown, Effiemgbabu Inyimegu Ikwo.
Speaker Odunwa eulogised the transformational initiatives of Governor Francis Nwifuru, especially on human capital and infrastructural development in less than two years, and thanked the members of Onwa Oferekpe Foundation for their solidarity to the present administration, and reiterated the needs to remain steadfast in their support.
"Like I always said, His Excellency, the State Governor is fully prepared to lead this State. In less than two years, he has brought a lot of positive transformations in the State. Let me thank you, the Members of Onwa Oferekpe Foundation for your solidarity. Don't relent in your support to the administration of Builder Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, because everybody will benefit from this administration."
Earlier, the Chairman of Onwa Oferekpe Foundation, Ikwo Local Government Area, Hon. John Amiara thanked the Speaker, Chief Moses Odunwa for his leadership ingenuity, especially for always attracting democratic dividends to the people of Ikwo Local Government, and asked him to convey their appreciations to the State Governor, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, especially for the recent One Million naira empowerment, that has gone a long way, in alleviating the sufferings of the people.
The Women Leader of Onwa Oferekpe Foundation, Ikwo Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Nkechi Oñele, expressed their gratitude to the Governor of the State, Chief Francis Nwifuru, and assured their readiness to remain steadfast in their support to the present administration.
The courtesy visit, allied with the occasion of the 2024 "Ori-nji" Effiemgbabu Inyimegu Ikwo, as the Rt. Honourable Speaker celebrated the festival with the good people of Effiemgbabu.
