The Member, Federal House of Representatives for Ikwo/ Ezza-South constituency and Chairman House Committee on Reformatory Institutions National Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Comrade) Chinedu Ogah OON, has commended the Executive governor of Ebonyi State, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, for approving a minimum wage of Seventy- Five thousand Naira (#75,000) for Ebonyi State workers and a salary increment of forty thousand Naira for all other levels, up till level 16.
The lawmaker, in a statement he personally signed, applauded the governor for this quality leadership and governance, noting that this significant payment increase demonstrates governors dedication to improving the working conditions of Ebonyi State's workforce, ensuring that they receive fair compensation for their hard work and contributions to the state's development.
Ogah, said that the good gesture is in tandem with the governor's Campaign promises geared towards the people's Charter of NEEDS mantra, while maintaining that it strengthens and boosts workers morale in the State. It's sufficient to say that Ebonyi workers are happy with this fair treat.
