Senator Ken Eze Flags Off Construction Of 10km Feeder Road

The Senator Representing Ebonyi Central Senatorial District and Chairman Senate Committee on Information and National Orientation, Distinguished Senator Engr. Ken Eze has flagged off the construction of 10km Amagu-Achiukoro-Nssokara feeder road project in Ezza South LGA of Ebonyi Central Senatorial Zone.



The Senator while handing over the road project to a construction  company, Skiland International limited, stated that rural road is one of his focal area of interest, and maintained that the construction of the 10km concrete pavement road is part of his efforts in supporting His Excellency Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru's laudable strides on road construction and maintenance in Ebonyi State.


Senator Eze who is also presently carrying out rural electrification / solar street light project across many communities of Ikwo, Ishielu, Ezza North and Ezza South LGAs, noted that the rural road project would be carried out in phases across Ebonyi Central Senatorial Zone, and lamented that road has posed as one of the major challenges of the rural dwellers, especially the famers, but however expressed satisfaction and confidence in Governor Ogbonna Nwifuru's effort in tackling the road infrastructural need of Ebonyians, as properly captured in the People's Charter of Needs Agenda of the State government.



Earlier in a remark, one of the officials of Anambra-Imo River Basin Development Authority, an agency where the rural road project was domiciled, Engr. Chikwere Ihemeremu, while handing over the project to the Contractor,  described Senator Ken Eze as a go-getter and commended him highly for always attending to the basic needs of his people 



Some of the stakeholders who accompanied the Senator to the venue of the flagged-off, which include a Senior Legislative Aide to the Deputy Senate President, Hon. Philip Eworo, the immediate past State Chairman of PDP, Barr. Ifeanyi Nworie, former Councilor of Amagu-Nsokara Ward, Hon. Ikechukwu Ukpabi, and the village Chairman of Ndeguazu Amegu, Mr. Alexander Ugbala, all expressed happiness and eulogised the Senator for always making the people proud with with quality representation, life touching programmes, economic empowerment, job creation and capital projects.
