Senator Ken Eze Flags off Construction Of More Classroom Blocks, Teacher's Quarter In Selected Public Schools In Ebonyi

Some blocks of classroom in Ezza South Local Government Area Ebonyi Central Senatorial Zone, Ebonyi State will soon spring up, while dilapidated ones will be renovated to serve the Education need of the pupils in the Area. Teachers quarters is also to be built to give comfort and boost the morale of the teachers in the considered public schools.


The Senator Representating Ebonyi Central Senatorial Zone, Senator Ken Eze, disclosed this during inspection tour of some public schools in the Zone.
Eze, who is the chairman Senate committee on information and national orientation said, it iis In line with his vision of delivering dividends of Democracy to the good people of Ebonyi Central Senatorial District, and in support of the state Governor, Chief Francis Nwifiru in delivering his People's charter of needs in the Education sector of the state.


 At Community primary school nwachi Amegu in Ezza South Local Government Area, Senator Ken Eze engaged Contractors to start renovating all dilapidated class rooms block, construct new ones and build Staff quarters for teachers in the primary school premises.

In the same vein, the Senator equally flagged off the construction of a 4-classroom block at Community Primary School, Umunwagu Idembia.


He directed that work should start tomorrow on the project as he handed a twenty million Naira cheque to the stakeholders as a take off fund for work to start  immediately on the project.

Handing over the cheque to the stakeholders, Sen Eze said that for our youths to be the leaders of tomorrow, they must undergo proper training with good education, which is why he launched IMPROVE THE LEARNING CONDITION IN OUR SCHOOLS PROGRAMME. The programme which was kicked off at Ikwo LGA with the reconstruction of Ndiagu Amagu Community Primary school, will see construction and reconstruction of classroom blocks across the schools in Ebonyi Central Senatorial District. This he said is part of his efforts to compliment the good investments and laudable efforts and programmes of the Executive Governor of Ebonyi state, His Excellency Rt. Hon Bldr Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru in revolutionising our education sector, raising the standard of school infrastructures and improving learning conditions in our schools.
Recall that a few days ago, Sen Eze initiated the reconstruction of 6- classroom blocks at Ndiagu Amagu Community primary school in Ikwo LGA, which was flagged on his behalf by Dr Philip Eworo, a Senior Legislative Aide to the Deputy Senate President.

Commending the Senator for his Sterling performance since he assumed office, the incumbent Coordinator of Ezza East Development Centre, Mrs Vivian Ogbuewu and her predecessor, Hon. Linus Eze expressed  gratitude to Senator Eze for the project, promising to utilize the funds religiously to ensure that the vision of Sen Eze to improve learning conditions in our schools is actualised.
The people of the community who came out in their numbers to welcome the Senator, were full of joy and openly expressed their happiness praying for God's blessings, wisdom and protection upon the Senator to keep serving the good people of Ebonyi Central Senatorial District the best of quality, purposeful and effective representation and leadership.
