Gov. Nwifuru: A Binding Cord Of Unity - Sen Ken Eze

Governor Francis Nwifuru has been described as a binding cord of Unity in Ebonyi State, uniting the people for greater good.


The senator representating Ebonyi Central senatorial zone and chairman Senate Committee on information and national Orientation, Senator Ken Eze, gave the description at Oferekpe Agbaja Community Primary School, in Izzi Local Government Area, during the 2025 Oferekpe Agbaja day celebration. He lauded the governor for advancing development in the area.


Senator Ken Eze, who is a special guest at the event, commended the people for the unity of purpose displayed through culture and togetherness, and called on the people of Oferekpe Agbaja to sustain and make the event an annual ritual.


"My advice to them is to sustain it and it an annual ritual. It is not to gather like this as a people, so, I commented them for gathering themselves this way. 


"I thank the Governor of Ebonyi state, because I, think he's the binding cord that bind all the people together and he is doing very well for his people. You can see aggressive development going on here and there. It shows that they have a great son that thinks home, that remembers his people, that remembers where he comes from. All these laudable achievement. So, I commend them.


"It is only in a cultural gathering like this that you see masquerade and other culturral display of this nature.


"I think this celebration is a win-win situation for the people for the people Oferekpe Agbaja autonomous Community", Senator Eze concluded.
