Ikwo DC Coordinator, Inspects Joint Road Project

In line with the people's charter of needs mantra of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru's administration in Enonyi State, and need to alleviate the suffering of the masses more especially at the grassroot level,
The Coordinator of Ikwo DC Hon. Nwoba Onyekachi (Bone) in conjunction with the village leadership of OBEGU ELEKE ECHARA ably led by Mr Joe. Nweke Igwe initiated the construction of some  road project in Obegu Eleke and Eleke Echara internal roads in Ikwo Development center.

The coordinator during the inspection emphasized that the contractor should intensify his  effort to ensure timely realisation of the project in line with the Ebonyi State resolve to enhance road network as engine of conomic growth, succinctly captured in the Governor Ogbonna Nwifuru Chater of need mantra in delivering quality services to the people.

He affirmed that the project became necessary as they were ordered by His Excellency to develop their rural areas and as a result wants the people to que into the programmes and policies of our dear Governor and vote massively for him come 2027 next general election to attract more dividends of democracy.


The Coordinator also opined that the essence of the road is to improve connectivity as well ease the difficulties in conveying people and goods from one area to another.

He also warns that he will not tolerate any delay in the project, that the contractor should intensify effort and ensure speedy delivery of the work to meet the taste of time.


In reaction, Mr. Joe Igwe, the village chairman expressed happiness over the project and thanked the Governor and the Coordinator for remembering them especially on this road project, He maintained that this is the first of it's kind and will not leave no stone unturned until APC succeeds in all the polling units within the area in 2027.

The Coordinator was accompanied  by  His SA Mr. Sunday Mboyi, the HOD works, Mr.  Nkata john, Hon. Igwe Basil, councilor Ndufu Echara ward and the village leaders.
