Reps Member Ogah, Inspects Ongoing Constituency Projects, Commends Gov. Nwifuru

To ensure effective and fast completion of developmental services to the grassroot and in ensuring dividends of democracy is returned to the people, the Member Representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Reformatory Institutions, Rt. Hon. Chinedu Ogah, OON during the weekend embarked on a legislative tour and inspection, across the Constituency to ascertain the level of work in both Ikwo and Ezza South Local Government Areas that made up the Constituency.

Ogah commended the engineers, architects and other field workers for their total dedication, commitment and quality service delivery. He expressed satisfaction, emphasising the need for all hands to be on deck to move the constituency forward. 
The lawmaker eulogized the leadership strides of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, describing him as a gift to Ebonyi state.

"I commend highly the developmental concerns and strides of our young friendsly and pragmatic governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Bldr. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, for always setting development standards for us to follow in the State". 

Comrade Ogah reaffirmed his continuous commitment in demonstrating quality leadership and representation that would step down dividends of democracy to the grassroot. 
Some of the projects inspected included the ongoing and uncompleted Constituency Mega projects including areas of Water Projects, Electricity, Schools, Solar Street Lights, Road Infrastructure, Building of Markets, Etc.  

For accountability, below are some of the ongoing and uncompleted Constituency projects in Ikwo/ Ezza- South Federal constituency. They are; 

WATER PROJECTS
1. Solar Powered Borehole at Catholic Church in Ezza South Local Government Area 
2. Solar Powered Borehole sited at Amudo/Okoffia road in Ezza South LGA. 
3. Solar Powered Borehole at Ndiagu Echara II
4. Solar Powered Borehole at Ohatekwe in Ndufu Amagu II
5. Solar Powered Borehole at Ndiagu Amagu I

ELECTRICITY

1. Installation of transformer at Ndufu Alike 
2. Installation of transformer at Akunakuna Amagu 
3. Installation of transformer at Ndiofoke
4. Installation of transformer at Ameka/ Ekpelu Ward
5. Installation of transformer at FUNAI gate junction 
6. Installation of transformer at Idembia/ Umunagu in Ezza South LGA. 
7. Installation of transformer at Ndiagu Amagu 
8. Rural electrification project at Obegu / Item Ochienyim 
SCHOOLS
1. Construction of Six classrooms at Premier Secondary School in Ndiagu Amagu 
2. Construction of three classrooms at Community Primary School in Enyibichiri Amagu
3. Construction of three classrooms at Community Primary School in Olua Ndiagu Echara I
4. Construction of three classrooms at Echialike 
5. Construction of three classrooms at Ettam in Okpuitumo 
6. Construction of three classrooms at Federal Girls Technical College in Amuzu Ezza South LGA 
7. Construction of three classrooms at Central School in Nsokara, Ezza- South LGA
8. Renovation of Ikwo High School Hall 
9. Construction of one storey building at Item Amagu 
10. Renovation of three classrooms at Agubia 

SOLAR STREET LIGHTS

1. Siting of Solar Street Light at Onueke, Ikwo, Orinte road 
2. Siting the Solar Street Light at Ikwo Development Center, Agubia, Noyo junction 
3. Siting of Solar Street Light at Oroña, Ochienyim road. 

ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE

1. Grading of road from Nwoba Elibe, Ndufu Umuta and Ekpelu road 
2. Construction of 3km road in Amudo/ Nsokara in Ezza South LGA 
3. Construction of 1km road connecting Igboji junction, Ngambo Ewogu and Ndufu Echara 
4. Construction of 1km at Ndiechi road 
5. Construction of Iburu/ Ejimoga road at Azuogburu road (Ongoing). 
6. Construction of 3km road at Amudo/ Nsokara road in Ezza South LGA 
7. Fencing of Ikwo Noyo Civic Center at Ngambo Ewogu


MARKET

1. Construction of the new Modern market at Item Amagu 
2. Construction of Eke Amegu Market 
3. Construction of Igboji Market.
