Senator Ani, in a goodwill message to Chief Okoro-Emegha, stated that the appointment was well-deserved and long overdue because of his relentless efforts and dedication to the actualisation of the party's manifesto.
"I, Distinguished Senator Prof. Anthony Ani (Ike Oha 1), on behalf of the good people of Ebonyi South Senatorial District, extend my heartfelt felicitations to the indefatigable Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Ebonyi State Chapter, on his recent appointment as the Chairman, Governing Board, Nigerian Animal Product Research Institute, Zaria.
"This appointment is well-deserved and a testament to your relentless efforts and dedication to the pursuit of the ideals of our great party."
The federal lawmaker also noted that the astute and ingenious leadership dispositions of Chief Okoro-Emegha have contributed to the landmark achievements of the party in Ebonyi State and beyond.
"It is noteworthy to state that your astute leadership prowess has led to the numerous successes our party has achieved in Ebonyi State and Nigeria at large."
Senator Ani further expressed confidence in Chief Okoro-Emegha, and beckoned on him not relent on his commitment to rendering selfless services to humanity.
"Therefore, to whom much is given, much is also expected, and I am very confident that you will certainly excel in this new role."
Senator Ani also entreated the Almighty God to grant Chief Okoro-Emegha good health, strength and wisdom in his quest to deepen internal party democracy in Nigeria.
